Mithos Goes Home

Mithos flew around the mall for a while, completely oblivious to the fact that his shiny sword and silvery wings were terrifying many shoppers. Eventually, he landed, deciding that if he didn’t eat some pocky immediately, there was no way he could save the unconscious guy from the midget and the scary monster.
His snack was interrupted by a loud shout. “Hey! It’s Mithos! Hi Mithos!” Four teenagers ran over to him.
Mithos!!!” A short girl was the first to reach him. She immediately glomped him. For a moment, he was very confused by this random hug. Then he remembered seeing her in Other Mithos’s memories. She was Maelthra-chath, Other Mithos’s dragon-obsessed girlfriend. He recognized the other friends as Oregulus, Lord of Demonic Blood, and ST218.
“Hi everyone!” he said cheerfully. “Have any of you seen any angels trying to destroy the world?”
“Umm… No… Don’t think so…” His friends were now very confused.
“Oh okay… But have you seen an unconscious guy being kidnapped by a midget or a scary monster?” Mithos persisted.
“Hey! That reminds me! Where have you been? The news said you got kidnapped!” Maelthra released him from her hug to ask this.
“Yeah, and it said you got knocked unconscious too,” Lord of Demonic Blood added. Oregulus laughed.
“I didn’t get kidnapped or knocked unconscious!” Mithos said indignantly. “But there have been a lot of meanies bothering me. Kratos and Lloyd killed my sister. And then Keyblade and Bookworm wouldn’t let me have the yummy water. And Mr. Cactus poked me when all I did was give him a friendly hug!” As he relived these horrible memories, his eyes filled with tears, which he quickly wiped away.
“Umm… Your sister’s fine, Mithos,” Lord of Demonic Blood assured him.
“Did you really hug a cactus?!” Oregulus asked in disbelief.
“Has anyone else noticed that Mithos is acting a little stranger than usual?” ST218 asked. All his friends nodded. Mithos nodded too because it looked more fun than keeping his head still. Everyone stared at him.
“Maybe the kidnappers brainwashed him or something,” Lord of Demonic Blood suggested.
“He mentioned Keyblade. I’m going to call her and see if she knows what’s wrong with him,” Maelthra decided. She grabbed her cell phone and called Keyblade’s home phone number.
Keyblade was just about to leave for the mall when the phone rang. “Hello?”
“Hi Keyblade!”
“Oh hi Maelthra! What’s up?”
“Mithos is acting a little weirder than usual. Do you know what happened while he was kidnapped?”
Keyblade’s eyes widened. “Is he with you now?”
“Yeah, we ran into him at the mall.”
“Can you and Mithos meet me in front of FYE in a half-hour?” Keyblade asked.
“Yeah, sure. See you then!”
“See you!” Keyblade hung up the phone. She smiled, forgetting her depression about the Kingdom Hearts 3 game. This was a perfect opportunity to defeat Mithos. He was apparently still drunk on cactus juice. That meant he wouldn’t be able to fight as well. Kratos and the Symphonians were trapped in their own world, so they wouldn’t be able to interfere by trying to kill Mithos.
If we can just find some way to get him unpossessed without killing him… Keyblade thought.
Let’s discuss it on the way to the mall. Goldd’s voice echoed in Keyblade’s mind. Her drake wings and tail appeared in a golden haze. She flapped her wings back and forth, heading towards the mall.
Meanwhile, Maelthra came up with an idea for what to do on while waiting for Keyblade.
“Let’s play DDR!” She grabbed Mithos’s hand and pulled him toward the arcade.
Mithos’s eyes widened in horror. He let out a high-pitched scream. “But that’s where the monster ate the unconscious guy!”
His friends stared at him.
“Can we fight the angels now?” he asked, not even noticing the weird looks they were giving him.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, Mithos, but you are definitely the weirdest person I know,” Oregulus said.
“Weirder than me?” ST218 asked in disbelief. “But I though everyone agreed I’m the geekiest person at our school!”
“Look at my sword! It’s shiny! Shiny!” Mithos cheered.
“Yeah, he’s weirder,” Oregulus and Lord of Demonic Blood said in unison. A moment later, they were running away from Maelthra, who didn’t like them insulting her boyfriend without permission. Mithos followed them all, still looking for an angel to kill with his shiny sword.

OOOps....Orange? Silence's Past

Night masked the shadowy form's presence from site as it crept just outside the edges of the woods. An newly renovated house stood just beyond a small patch of tar, and beyond that, the secret to all of Silences power. The Koarion Beacon. For those reader who have no clue what Koarion is, its race of biogenetically engineered frogs designed to decimate whatever target is designated by the K Beacon. One awoken from there dormant state, the Koarion would multiply, divide into several subspecies each with a very specific task, and destroy the opposition. The beacon lay just beyond these walls, hidden in the large crevice in the corner of Silences room. He hadn't bothered to bring the beacon, in hope that he would never again have to use its destructive power. He had had the good sense to never completely shut down the mental link he shared with his amphibian allies. This link enables him to activate only a few of the Koarion's protective magics. Meaning pretty much that he could become a shadow on will.
Unfortunately, Silence was extremely out of practice. Even after 3 hours of straining tin the bushes, he had only managed to turn his entire body an odd shade of blue black that he couldn't quite get rid of. Great disguise in the middle of the night, hard to explain to your parents.
He finally reached his destination, the front porch stairs. Long ago Silence had realized the potential of the hole dug by at skunk under his porch steps. It gave him a hidden entrance to his underground lab, and from there his room. He crouched down and realized with a sudden panic that the hole was nowhere to be found. Of course. The house was all fixed up now, why would they leave a hole under the steps. “idiot”(don't know what this was supposed to be) he said to himself. He would have to get in another way.
He looked about him, searching for anyway into the house without drawing attention to himself. He concentrated again on focusing his link to the Koarion if he could get it right, he could use the Koarion sticky palms to climb the wall. HAHA!!! The old feeling of microscopic suction cups returned to his hands. But of course, moving his attention away from his color had turned him a bright shade of orange. Grand.
He started his assent, careful to watch his back for random passerbys on the street below.
He reached a slightly ajar window, and without a sound, opened it up just enough to squeeze himself into the dark room. He recognized the room immediately. It was his sister, Damii's old room. The crypt they had called it when they lived there, and rightfully so. It was pitch black save for the pale glow of Silence's orange person. A noise from behind the door made him start, and his heart started racing. It was the worst conceivable sound. A sound so very dangerous, it compromised life itself. A toilet flushing from down the hall. Apparently the new owner had risen for a small bathroom break, and was returning from is venture. Caught in his present state, (meaning orange and in another man's bedroom) he would surely be sent to prison, or worse, a lab much like his own. Having lived in this house throughout most of his life, Silence pretty muh knew where everything was, even though it was too dark to see. He rushed silently as he could to the door on the right side of the room, the closet. Just as he shut the door behind himself the bedroom door swung inward allowing the entry of a very groggy figure.
They could her his heart racing, his pulse pounding, the very sound your eyes mke as they dart about in fear. He was caught. He would be spending the next twenty years in prison for B and E, then the rest of his life in a lab for being orange.
No. He was Silence. He was the one who commissioned the destruction of an entire alien race that threatened him. All of them, women, children, innocents, all of them. This is why the Koarion had lain dormant for so long. He could not bring himself to bring such horrors to life again. Even now he had no intention of awakening the beasts. Only activating the beacon to strengthen the link and restore him to his former powerful self. He would have his revenge.
He heard the snoring now emanating from the room beyond get louder and new his foe had gone to sleep, Lifting the door so as to keep it from squeaking, he slowly opened it inch by inch until there was just enough room for him to slip through. He looked about, remember times he had had in the small room, it was familiar, but at the same time, distinctly foreign. Such is the way of returning home.
He walked thought through the open door into the hallway connecting the three bedrooms and the bathroom. His room, apparently had been turned into a study. Grand.
Just beyond the door there was a small door leading into an access to the pipes beneath the bathroom. At least that was the designers intention. Silence had other plans.
After the asteroid had hit, he kept it in this room hiding it from view as her performed his experiments. He opened the hatch making a louder clunk than he had hoped. The snoring stopped. He did not have time to stop, he quickly jumped into the portal, not even bothering to shut it. The moment he touched the stone he could slip into the night, a living shadow. He hit the ground rolling and jumped up, his hand already reaching for the pedestal the Koarion Beacon had sat on for all this time. Only one problem.
It wasn't there.
